De arc-killer dooft de vlamboog door hem naar een metalen geaard kortsluiting te leiden. De vlamboog dooft in minder dan 50 ms. Hierdoor kan de expansie van hete gassen in een ruimte tot nul worden gereduceerd. RMU&#8217;s van het type DR-6+ bieden bescherming tegen een interne vlamboogclassificatie IAC categorie B, FLR 20 kA 1 s. (F= frontaal, L=lateraal, R=achter). <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De gepatenteerde SV-50 Arc-Killer tilt veiligheid naar een nieuw niveau. De operator en de omgeving worden afgeschermd, of de operator nu voor, naast of achter het schakelbord staat. Bovendien stellen de verbeterde veiligheidsfuncties van de arc-killer minder strenge eisen aan de installatieruimte.
