NS-2
The NS-2 gas insulated switchgear (GIS) is a medium voltage switchgear for primary distribution that uses dry air as the insulating medium instead of SF6. Its airtight construction and metal housing allows a solid insulated bus bar to be connected to the outside of the gas tank. According to IEC 62271/DIN EN 62271, a metal tank, without phase insulation, encloses the internal switching components for each pole.

Applications
Our latest innovation, a more environmentally friendly alternative to our GIS DR-6, uses nitrogen and a vacuum interrupter. This switchgear is completely SF6-free and suitable for primary and secondary applications up to 24 kV.
