Ce matin nous avons eu le plaisir de recevoir les étudiants Electrotechnique de l'institut Don Bosco – Sint-Denijs-Westrem, sur notre site moyenne tension à Nevele.
Dans notre showroom, les élèves ont eu la possibilité d'actionner à une installation moyenne tension et à nos disjoncteurs.

Ce matin nous avons eu le plaisir de recevoir les étudiants en Master Electrotechnique de la KU Leuven – Campus de Bruges, sur notre site moyenne tension. Après une présentation générale, les étudiants ont pu rendre une visite à notre musée retraçant 75 ans de technologie moyenne tension, notre showroom et le hall de production de SGC.

Des élèves enthousiastes de la VTI de Poperinge sont venus en visite ce matin sur notre site de production moyenne tension de Nevele, également le siège de la société Deba. Après une courte présentation, s’ensuivit une visite guidée de notre musée de la moyenne tension, unique en Belgique. Le groupe s’est ensuite dirigé vers le hall de production de SGC – SwitchGear Company.

Ce matin, jeudi le 23 novembre, l’institut technique libre (VTI) de Deinze a visité les entreprises Deba, Mevoco et SGC-SwitchGear Company.
Après une présentation générale de nos entreprises, actives dans le secteur de la moyenne tension et une visite de notre musée dans le Centre de Compétence Moyenne Tension de Nevele, les étudiants ont pu se plonger dans l’activité de notre division tôlerie et du hall de production de SGC-SwitchGear Company.

Aujourd’hui, les élèves de 7eme BSO (Enseignement Secondaire Professionnel)/ 6eme TSO (Enseignement Technique Secondaire) de l’institut Don Bosco de Sint-Denijs-Westrem peuvent se former à l’entretien d’embauche lors du salon de l’emploi.
Cela leur viendra sans aucun doute à point à la fin de cette année scolaire.

SGC-SwitchGear Company nv implémente HIM (Human Interface Mate) dans son processus de production. C'est une technologie de réalité augmentée qui aide les opérateurs de production.
HIM utilise un capteur 3D et un projecteur pour informer, éduquer et guider l'opérateur dans sa zone de travail pendant le processus opérationnel. "Grâce à HIM, un employé d'une entreprise de fabrication comme SGC peut effectuer des opérations complexes avec la même sécurité que celle d'un robot."

Dans le secteur de la politique, de l’université et du monde des entreprises de nombreux débats ont traits à l’avenir de l’industrie en Flandres. Surtout parce qu’aujourd’hui le projet « Industrie 4.0 » (appelé aussi « Digitalisation ») est à notre porte.
Le catastrophisme est déplacé, mais être conscient de la transition est de première importance. Rassembler à ce sujet des connaissances est une tâche importante de nos pouvoirs publics. Raison pour laquelle, notre administrateur Geert Roelens a été sollicité en vue de présenter sa vision de cette évolution lors d’une Audition de la Commission du Travail et de l’Economie du Parlement Flamand.
Qu’au sein de SGC – SwitchGear Company des avancées spectaculaires ont été réalisées dans ce domaine a été illustré par Geert en se reposant sur l’interview de notre CEO Sophie Vandoorne. Les défis du futur ne peuvent être ignorés par SGC et nous poursuivrons sur la base du projet «Industrie 4.0», car ceci toutes les chances d’un futur prospère.

Le lundi 25 septembre, les sociétés SGC (vainqueur du Most Promising Belgian Maker Award 2016) et Aluvision (vainqueur du Belgian Maker Award 2017) ont visité la nouvelle plateforme de DHL à Diegem. Ils ont pu se découvrir de visu le fonctionnement et l’organisation des services.
