New realization for Sibelga!
They visited us to conduct the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for our DF-2 cubicles before it will be installed on site by our partner Deba. They will manage and install everything within two weeks to ensure the delivery of the project.
The station, called P.R. Ropsy Ecole, will be equipped with Air Insulated Switchgear cubicles of our Premium Line DF-2 (built to last, 17,5 kV, 800A). This system allows us to provide “made-to-measure” solutions for all your medium voltage needs.
Sibelga provided us with the technical plan itself and we took care of its elaboration. The technical drawing can be found below.

Are you our new electrical and mechanical tester?
As a tester, you will be responsible for testing our switch cubicles. This both electrically and mechanically.
What will you do?
As a tester, you are responsible for testing our switch cells. Both electrically and mechanically. Quality is one of our pet subjects, so you make your contribution to this. Using a checklist, you go through various tests. If the tests show an unsatisfactory score, you take this up with your manager. Needless to say, accuracy is essential. In this way, you contribute to maximum customer satisfaction.
Knowledge and experience?
- You enjoyed a degree in electricity/electromechanics or can demonstrate equivalent experience.
- Experienced employee or high potential school leaver? We will give you training on the job.

A few weeks ago we got a visit from Mr. Wynand from Powers Engineering. He was here to do the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) on behalf of our customer.
The tested cubicles are our most popular product: the “DF-2”. It is a metal-enclosed and high-quality AIS switchgear solution. A modular concept that combines all medium voltage functions. It allows us to provide “made-to-measure” solutions.
The DF-2 cubicles are now ready for take-off to South Africa!

Fancy a challenging job where no two days are the same? As assistant to the production manager, you ensure that production runs smoothly.
What will you do?
Together with the production manager, you will ensure optimal production at SGC nv. You support the production manager in all daily and administrative tasks within our international production environment. You are responsible for monitoring the production process within our internal ERP package. Among other things, you ensure that all product and article sheets are filled in correctly and for efficient production planning.
You make the planning and work assignments for the employees in production.
Knowledge and experience?
- You preferably enjoyed a bachelor’s or master’s degree within a technical specialisation or you can present a first work experience within a technical production environment.
- You are strong in planning and like to roll up your sleeves yourself.
- You have an eye for improvement and enjoy working in a solution-oriented way.
- You are communicative and can express yourself fluently in Dutch, English and French.

As a technical buyer, you will be responsible for the entire procurement process of raw materials and other machinery needed for our companies.
What will you do?
You are responsible for the entire procurement process of raw materials and other machinery needed for our companies. You have daily contact with suppliers and negotiate prices, delivery terms and other specific conditions. Where possible, you draw up framework contracts so that your internal customers can always order their supplies at the best price. You keep a close eye on the stock situation and if necessary you take care of group orders. You ensure that your internal customers are never faced with shortages.
Knowledge and experience?
- You hold a master’s degree, preferably in technical sciences.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and French.
- You are computer literate and willing to learn our internal ERP package.
- You have a result-oriented and commercial attitude.

Fancy a versatile position within a global player in medium voltage?
What will you do?
As an internal Project Engineer, you will have a versatile position within SGC. Ideal for a junior to get to know the world of medium voltage or for an experienced employee who likes variety and responsibility. To realize electrical schematics, you are the first point of contact for both national and international customers. During and after the sale, you are responsible for the specific adaptations and options to the switch cells within the framework of the customer’s own regulations. By quickly responding to questions from our customers, you can make the difference. For this you work closely with the production managers and commercial colleagues. Then you draw up the electrical diagrams and the customer gets a clear picture of the end result. Once the sale is complete, you finish the electrical plan in detail. On the electrical side, you are the link to production. Electrical engineers can always come to you with their technical questions, so you are able to detect problems early. You have no problem rolling up your own sleeves now and then.
Knowledge and experience?
- You hold at least a bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics or Electrical Engineering and thus have a thorough knowledge of electricity. We also welcome school leavers to our team.
- You have knowledge of drawing programs, preferably in Autocad Electrical. Do you have no experience with this? No worries, training is provided.
- You are computer literate enough to learn our own ERP package and thus ensure a smooth administrative follow-up. MS Office also holds no secrets for you.
- You can express yourself fluently in Dutch, French and English.
- You are an organizational talent and your focus is always on the customer (internal and external).
