Power Transmission and Distribution Technology

In November 2026, SGC will participate in the Power Transmission & Distribution Technology Expo in Cologne.

As a manufacturer of innovative medium-voltage switchgear, SGC will present its latest solutions for electricity distribution, grid reliability, and modern energy infrastructure at this international trade show. The trade show brings together grid operators, utility companies, engineering firms, and technology companies from around the world to discuss the future of electricity transmission and distribution networks.

Visitors to the SGC booth will be introduced to our extensive portfolio of medium-voltage switchgear for both indoor and outdoor applications. Our solutions are designed to enhance the safety, reliability, and efficiency of power grids while meeting increasingly stringent requirements for sustainability and performance.

During the trade show, we’ll be highlighting our SF6-free technologies, among other things. A key example of this is the NS-2, our primary medium-voltage switchgear that uses dry air as an insulating medium instead of SF6 gas. With this solution, SGC supports the transition to more environmentally friendly and future-oriented electrical installations without compromising on reliability or safety.

We are also introducing our RX4.0 Switchgear Monitor, an advanced monitoring system for medium-voltage switchgear. This smart solution provides real-time insight into the condition and performance of installations, supports predictive maintenance, and helps grid operators and industrial users minimize downtime and increase the availability of their assets.

As power grids continue to evolve, the demand for reliable, sustainable, and future-proof solutions is growing. SGC continues to invest in innovative medium-voltage technologies that contribute to safer, smarter, and more efficient power grids.

We look forward to welcoming customers, partners, and professionals from the energy sector to Cologne to discuss the future of medium-voltage systems, grid reliability, and smart monitoring solutions.
