In addition to all the standard quality checks, each cubicle has to pass a series of rigorous final inspections before it's signed off as complete. We put it through several tests to ensure the safety of the operators and to guarantee a long lifespan of the product.

The assembly procedures here follow a very strict protocol with quality checks made continuously throughout the process. In addition to our strict internal review, we also attach great importance to an objective, external review. That is why we work with the ISO 9001 certificate.

Each and every switchgear is built in this single factory in Belgium and our engineers are literally just one feet away from the production floor. Supervisors and managers are out on the floor. When a change needs to happen, they can be on the assembly line instantly implementing those changes.

Issues are identified and attacked immediately and improvements to the process are always being made by the builders before actually doing the work. Other switchgear manufacturers with multiple factories spread all over the world just can't react as quickly.

SGC developed a complete line of high quality products, specifically built to withstand extreme conditions. The Sahel line is a series of products developed for medium voltage distribution posts in extremely hot area’s such as the Sahel. They are successfully introduced in Chad for the last 5 years without problems. This is a big step forward to improve the durability of the distribution network there.

SGC nv SwitchGear Company’s patented SV-25 and SV-50 Arc-Killers takes safety to a new level. Not just the operator and the environment are shielded from harm, but the super-swift arc extinguishing system allows cubicles to be back in operation very quickly in case of an internal fault.
