SGC – SwitchGear Company is proud to be nominated for the Flanders International Business Awards (FIBAs) 2026 in the Exporter Cub category. With this nomination, Flanders Investment & Trade recognises our international growth and our contribution to the Flemish manufacturing industry.

From 79 applications, nine Flemish companies were selected across three categories. SGC is one of three nominees in the Exporter Cub category, which recognises internationally active companies with fewer than 50 employees.

From Landegem to international markets

Since 2010, SGC has been developing and manufacturing medium voltage switchgear in Landegem for the safe and reliable distribution of electricity. Our solutions, ranging from 1 to 36 kV, are used in a wide variety of applications and projects worldwide.

Our international activities continue to grow. Since 2021, SGC has achieved export growth of 72.33%. Today, exports account for 29% of our total turnover.

These figures demonstrate how Belgian technology and craftsmanship are also making their mark internationally.

Belgian expertise driving international growth

At SGC, we combine technical expertise, in-house development and manufacturing in Belgium. Safety, reliability, quality and long service life are at the heart of our medium voltage solutions.

We also continue to invest in innovation, including medium voltage technology free from SF₆ and other F-gases.

This nomination also recognises the dedication of all employees at SGC and the Het Veer Group. Thanks to their daily commitment, expertise and teamwork, we are able to support our customers and partners worldwide.

Looking ahead to the FIBA Awards 2026

The winners will be announced on 13 November 2026 during the official awards ceremony at Corda Arena in Hasselt.
