Production Manager, RMU
SGC – SwitchGear Company develops and manufactures medium-voltage solutions for customers worldwide. Our industry is changing rapidly. The transition from SF6 to new SF6-free technology is affecting not only our products but also our manufacturing processes.
That is why we are looking for an RMU Production Manager who will lead our day-to-day production and help shape the future of our production.
Are you our new production manager?
As the RMU Production Manager, you ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our RMU production. You combine people management, production management, and change management, and guide your team in making further improvements.
What will you do?
- You plan and organize daily production.
- You lead, coach, and motivate your team on the job.
- You ensure quality, safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- You analyze processes and focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- You will work closely with R&D and Engineering to successfully bring new and updated products into production.
- You will oversee the industrialization and ramp-up of our SF6-free products.
- You help further develop job roles, processes, and competencies.
- You guide employees through change and ensure clear communication and buy-in.
Knowledge and experience?
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience;
- You have management experience in a technical manufacturing environment;
- You excel at managing people and take ownership;
- You think in terms of solutions and see opportunities for improvement;
- You work in a structured and results-oriented manner;
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and professionally in English.
