Visit of the Trade delegation from Central African Republic

SGC – Switchgear Company invited the Trade delegation of the Central African Republic from the electricity company ENERCA last week.

The reason for the visit is the possible cooperation, in the footsteps of the successful project in Moundou (Chad), between SGC -SwitchGear Company and ENERCA.

SGC – Switchgear Company can say that we’re innovator in the development of energy security installations that comply with Sahel standards.

Moreover, our medium voltage switchgear are built to last and can withstand the extreme weather conditions (temperatures > 40 °C).

Our sales expert, for the Sahel region in particular, Frank Claeys, welcomed the delegation and organized a company visit on our site in Landegem, including a tour through our production facilities and museum.

But we even saw it bigger, not only on the level of energy supply, but also in helping them with solutions to their needs.

On Thursday 18 November, the delegation was invited to the town council of Deinze. The Mayor Jan Vermeulen, Filip Vervaeke, alderman for local economy and Yannic Demeyer, coordinator of Deinze Industrie vzw welcomed the delegation in the town house.

The purpose of the visit is to explore the possibility of partnerships with the city of Deinze or with Belgian companies that also trade with the Central African Republic or Chad.

The program included a reception at the Leiespiegel service centre and a site visit on Blue Bike.
