The DW-3 system is a modular concept based on the “building blocks” principle, which means that cubicles are produced in series. As a result, the modular DW-3 concept meets the highest technical standards in a rational, economically sound way. The combination of cubicles is unlimited.
Our DW-3 system is intended for higher currents (>>1250A), which makes it ideal for heavy industries. It also peaks in safety levels by being armored between the compartments, having withdrawable circuit breakers and you have an indication through the window of our cubicles. Manual operation of the cubicles requires minimal switch force. The clean and neat synoptic diagram provides a clear and safe overview of the different positions of the various parts of the cubicle.
SGC offers a wide range of applications with the DW-3 cubicles and associated air insulated switchgear solutions. Every cubicle contains all functional interlocks which allows for effortless application. That’s according to all current standards. Therefore, DW-3 allows installation in consumer work spaces. That results in minimal capacity loss.
For all your needs and demands, the DW-3 cubicles and associated air insulated switchgear provide a solution: it can replace obsolete installations and extend existing installations, and it is also perfectly suitable for entirely new constructions.

Equipped with a robust two-position load break switch RV-44 (open or closed), that is sealed for life. Can withstand a pressure of 800 A and optional 1250 A (double busbar system). DF-3 ’s modular design allows you to create rational, economical & custom-made combinations of medium voltage cubicles (with a rated voltage 12,17 or 24 kV). The position of the load break switch is clearly indicated in the single line diagram. The position can be controlled at all times, not only by the synoptic but also through the two inspection windows integrated in the front door of the cubicles. This kind of load break switch has large contacts and can withstand the voltage with pressure.
